A small team in Vancouver that still believes repair shops should be honest, transparent, and easy to talk to.
Mass PC Repair started in 2016 when two friends — Marcus Webb and David Sousa — grew frustrated with how confusing and opaque most repair experiences felt. Customers would bring in a device, get told a price, and leave without really understanding what had been done or why.
We started with the goal of doing it differently: explain what we find, give people real options, and never push unnecessary work. That approach hasn't changed.
We're not a franchise. We're a small shop on Point Grey Road. You'll talk to the same people each time. And if something is beyond what we can reasonably do — we'll say so.
We tell you what we find, what it means, and what the options are — before we do anything. No surprise bills, no work done without your approval.
We'd rather explain a problem once, properly, than have you come back confused. Understanding your technology is part of the service.
If a repair isn't the right call — because of cost, device age, or what's actually failing — we'll tell you. We don't fix things for the sake of billing.
Most of our customers come back. We think that's because we treat each visit as a conversation, not just a job ticket.
Your files and personal information aren't our business. We only access what's necessary to complete the repair, and nothing is shared.
We live and work in Vancouver. Our community's trust means more to us than a good quarter.
Marcus and David launch out of a small rented space near Kitsilano. First month is mostly word of mouth from friends and neighbours.
Growing demand for virus removal and software work leads to the hire of Nadia Chen, who brings a focused security and software skill set.
The shift to remote work creates a noticeable increase in repair requests, particularly for aging home laptops suddenly being used full-time.
The business moves to its current location on Point Grey Road — more space, better parking, and a more central Vancouver address.
We pass the 3,200 device milestone. Still the same team, same approach. Nothing dramatic — just keeping at it.
Reach out and we'll give you a straight answer — no pressure, no upselling.
